Department of Qur’an Memorization (Hifz al-Qur’an)

The Department of Hifz al-Qur’an is a key educational and character-building division of Al-Irshad Islamic Institute. At present, 150 students are memorizing the Holy Qur’an, while 200 students have completed their memorization.

Under the guidance of qualified and experienced teachers, the department provides high-quality instruction in Qur’an memorization and Tajwid (correct recitation). Modern teaching resources, particularly multimedia, are used effectively to make Qur’anic education accessible, engaging, and productive. A structured system of Sabaq (new memorization), Sabaqi (recent revision), and Manzil (revision of previously memorized portions) helps students develop strong, accurate, and lasting retention.

Alongside Qur’anic learning, special attention is given to students’ religious and moral development, regular performance of Salah, Islamic manners, and character building. The aim is for students not only to preserve the Holy Qur’an in their hearts but also to reflect its teachings in their daily lives.
