Giving

Can I donate by card?

Not at present. This website has no payment gateway, so donations are made by transfer to one of our official accounts — bank, JazzCash or Easypaisa — and then reported on the donation form so we can verify and record them. We are working on a route that is easier for donors outside Pakistan.

I am donating from outside Pakistan. What is the easiest way?

An international transfer to our JS Bank account, using the IBAN shown on the donation page. Please contact us first if you are giving a larger amount from abroad — we can confirm the details with you directly and make sure the transfer is matched to you correctly.

Why is the bank account named differently from the website?

The account is registered as Al Irshad Education Center. That is the registered account name of this same institute. The difference in wording is expected and is not a cause for concern.

Does submitting the form charge me?

No. The form only tells us about a transfer you have already made yourself. This website never charges anyone.

What if I forget to fill in the form after transferring?

Please contact us with the date, amount and account you sent from, and we will find it on the statement and record it.

How long until my donation is confirmed?

Usually one to two working days. You receive an email and a reference number.

Can I give anonymously?

Yes. Tick the box on the form and your name will never appear anywhere public. Our finance team still needs your details in order to match the transfer.

Is my payment screenshot private?

Yes. Screenshots are stored outside the public website, with randomised filenames, and can only be opened by signed-in finance staff. They are never published or emailed.

Zakat

Do you accept Zakat?

Yes, and we record it separately from other gifts. See the Zakat policy for what it is and is not spent on.

Can my Zakat go towards the new building?

No. Construction is funded by general donations and Sadaqah Jariyah, not Zakat.
