The Alim Course (Dars-e-Nizami) is an important academic and religious department of Al-Irshad Islamic Institute. Currently, approximately 150 male and female students are pursuing Islamic studies, and approximately 35 students have graduated from the program.
The department follows a structured curriculum covering the Qur’an and its exegesis (Tafsir), Hadith, Islamic jurisprudence (Fiqh), principles of jurisprudence (Usul al-Fiqh), Islamic beliefs, Arabic language and literature, and other essential religious disciplines. Under the supervision of learned teachers, particular emphasis is placed on students’ academic abilities, understanding of religion, research awareness, and analytical reasoning.
A distinguishing feature of the Alim Course is its integration of religious and contemporary education. Alongside Dars-e-Nizami, educational pathways for Matriculation, FA, ICS, and BS are also provided, enabling students to advance academically while developing expertise in Islamic scholarship.
Education is complemented by moral and practical training, character development, etiquette in scholarly disagreement, and awareness of religious responsibilities. Graduates are prepared to contribute meaningfully to teaching, Da’wah and religious outreach, leading prayers, public speaking, and the intellectual and religious guidance of their communities.
